After the kittens reach 4 to 5 weeks of age, If there are still any remaining, they are priced based on colors and patterns, between $3,000 and $5,000.
It's unusual to have kittens that are not reserved by the time they reach 5 weeks of age.
You may skip up to two litters to find the kitten that you fall in love with.
Raised with love in our home, for your home:
Our Bengal kittens are raised in our home with our children and their Mothers. The temperaments of our breeding stock along with our constant handling and socialization, done by both adults and children, helps ensure that our babies come to you prepared as much as possible to enter your life and homes. When getting a kitten from Registered Bengals you can be assured of the quality in temperament, health and looks for your Bengal kitten.
We release our kittens at 10 to 14 weeks of age depending on the development of the kitten, because we feel that at this vulnerable age they bond quicker and strongly to you and adjust better to their new home. Staying with the breeder any longer runs the risk of getting used to their litter-mates and the home environment of the breeder.
Kitten pricing is based on how much each kitten conforms to the breed standards (how much it looks like a Leopard). Our kittens are priced at around 4 - 6 weeks old. It isn't until that time that we get a good idea of their final pattern and colors. Bengals are usually born with solid spots. As their patterns emerge their spots may "Rosette" and the center becomes lighter. It usually takes a Bengal up to 1 year to achieve their full pattern and color. In the first few months of life they go through a Camouflage stage or the "fuzzies" which may distort their true color and pattern. After they loose their fuzzies their gorgeous glittered pelt is revealed! When first choosing your Bengal Kitten it is hard to believe they can be more beautiful than they already are.
There are also a lot of other areas that affect pricing. There are vet bills, food bills, litter, time involved as well as many other factors. Here at Registered Bengals / Bengaltime Cattery we spare no expense in making sure you are getting the best fed and most socialized Bengal available! We feed the best foods and snacks to our babies. We also spend time every day holding each kitten.
We DO NOT cage our Cats or kittens, They live with us in our home.
Why are your kittens so expensive? I've seen Bengal kittens advertised for less.

All of our Bengals are registered with CFA The Cat Fanciers Association) and TICA (The International Cat Association) and all of our litters are registered.
This proves that they are Purebred Bengal cats and that we have breeding rights to produce kittens.
We do lots of testing on our adult breeding Bengals to ensure they are in top condition for breeding. We are responsible breeders and our kittens get all of their vaccinations and are dewormed several times to ensure they are coming to you healthy. We give a two year from birth health guarantee for congenital health defects. We also provide support after you buy your kitten if you have any questions at all we are here to answer them or help you get the answers you’re looking for.
If you are purchasing a Bengal from a breeder that does not have CFA and or TICA registered Bengals, there is no guarantee that they are even 100% Bengal. In fact, they are probably not! These breeders are called "Backyard breeders" and they are more concerned with making money than they are about the purity, health and well being of the kittens they produce. Their kittens will grow up to have poor clarity in their markings, physical qualities very unbecoming for Bengals and personality quirks that don’t match the Bengal breed. Unfortunately these breeders are not concerned with improving the breed and producing top quality Bengals.
When purchasing a purebred Bengal, you really get what you pay for!
If you're going to spend money and invest your heart into a Bengal that will be a part of your family for the next 15-18 years you want to be sure to buy a documented TICA purebred Bengal.
Why is it important to get a documented CFA or TICA purebred Bengal?
If you are purchasing a Bengal from a "breeder" that does not have CFA and or TICA registered Bengals, there is no guarantee that they are even 100% Bengal. Bengal cats have distinctly different social personalities when compared to other breeds. Many people who purchase Bengals cats want an exotic looking pet with a dog-like personality and superior intelligence.
A “Bengal” that is not CFA and or TICA registered may not be a Bengal cat, it may not have the traditional Bengal cat personality or it may have an altered personality with negative or aggressive personality treats. In addition, the cat may have unconventional coloring, patterning and unforeseen health problems.
What is TICA?
(The International Cat Association)? TICA is the he world's largest genetic registry of pedigreed cats, and the world's largest registry of household pets.
TICA follows a strict code of ethics that its members must adhere to. These rules make sure that ethical breeding is being practiced and protects the rights of the sellers and the buyers. Breeders that are found in violation of these rules can be kicked out of TICA.
A registered TICA Bengal cat has documentation of all pedigree documentation to its original ALC mating which guarantees the cat as a purebred. To be a legal purebred Bengal it must be TICA registered.
Things to consider if you purchase a cheaper Bengal.

- They may be of lower quality and lack the vivid markings creating the “wow” factor
- May come from a kitty mill and caged most of their lives with minimal human involvement
- May not be purebred TICA registered and with the documented pedigree to back it up
- Shortcuts may have been taken to save time and expense that will have an impact later in life that you don't foresee
- Health guarantee may be non-existent or relatively short compared to the lifetime of a Bengal
- 72 hour health guarantee? Really? We offer a 2 Year from Birth Guarantee against any life threatening congenital defects.
- Breeders may not have undergone health tests or genetic testing.
- Breeders whose sole income rely on Breeding have profit as a bottom line.
